On-Call Scheduling Coordinator – Work from Home

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you’ll have the important responsibility to fill daily open shifts by matching the right CAREGiver to a client’s needs and personality in a fast-paced environment. This position fits best with an individual who has exceptional planning and organization skills, adaptable to change and resilient. Compassion with a helpful attitude is very important as you will build strong relationships by effective communication and good listening skills.
This individual must have a pro-active work ethic, ability to problem solve, be detailed oriented and the ability to build trusting relationships over the phone. Proficient computer skills working with database system, MS Outlook and MS OFFICE is a must. Previous staffing or scheduling experience is a big plus!

The schedule is Every Weekend and Mon-Thursday 6-8a and 5-10p
We are an International non-medical Home Care Company that has been serving seniors for over 20 years. Home Instead is seeking an extraordinary team member with deep compassion for the elderly and those who serve them.
Do you have strong communication skills, able to handle a fast-paced environment, able to multi-task these qualities? Job responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
1. Answering each incoming call in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner and responding to them as needed
2. Schedule shifts for clients when there are Short Notice Call Outs
3. Monitor the software dashboard for missed CAREGiver clock-in and clock-out alerts
4. Communicate with CAREGivers and clients regarding scheduling as changes arise
5. Monitor, mediate, and log both client and CAREGiver activity and follow up on CAREGiver assignments and client service
Education/Experience Requirements: High school graduation or the equivalent One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered Must possess a valid driver’s license Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Computer related experience inclusive of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook as well as the ability to operate web-browser based software applications
